The cherry and maple Celtic Folk Harp used in the "Mississippi Sunrise" recording was handcrafted in 2010, by
David Kortier
from Duluth, Minnesota. It has five octaves allowing a wide range of song styles to be played. Each of the 34 carbon-fiber strings has its own amplification. Jacque's other interests and talents include photography and the graphic design of this Website.
Careful thought was given in the making of our recordings to preserve the original voice of the Native Flute and to explore the additional creative dimensions of this remarkable and versatile instrument in concert with the ancient harp.
